Based in Colorado, our client was a one stop shop for payroll, staffing and insurance services specifically to companies in the cannabis industry. Their willingness to service the cannabis industry and the ability to provide all services under one roof, provided a unique advantage.

Problem

Looking to expand in a rapidly growing industry, this client had trouble making enough calls to generate enough leads and appointments. Additionally, they needed help to distinguish themselves from some of the bigger, more well-known companies like Paychex, ADP and Quickbooks, especially for those companies that already had a service in place.

Scope of Work

We worked closely with this client to craft a a compelling message and offer to spark interest and set appointments with cannabis companies. This project consisted of mostly cold calling 400 to 500 contacts per month. Our approach relied on generating interest by communicating our unique industry position, offering to provide more information on the services and sharing a compelling offer of 3 months of free payroll services. This proved to be extremely successful and generated over 200 appointments in a little over a year.
