Meet Kaitlynn, our Social Media and Video Editor here at SHP. She manages, directs, and edits all video content for internal use and social media channels. You can find some of her work on our TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube channel.
When Kaitlynn’s not working with SHP, you can find her creating content, podcasting, and editing for projects like BGE, an LGBTQ+ Media Podcast, and her YouTube, Twisted Trailers. She also created Homeless Chronicles, a documentary about youth homelessness and how it affects their mental health later in life. Kaitlynn won several awards for her work, but her favorite is a 2019 student Emmy for a multimedia journalism piece she created while attending Drexel University. Just as comfortable in front of the camera as she is behind it, Kaitlynn also struts her stuff and belts her tunes on stage for an indoor Color Guard.
A world traveler, Kaitlynn has traveled to over 15 different countries, but at home, you can always find her hanging out and dressing up her two (movie star) dogs, Brooklynn and Bristol. If you ever happen to need emotional support, Brooklynn is one of the best. She is currently located here at SHP HQ in Norristown, PA.

What Do You Enjoy Doing When You Are Not Working?
I love singing, dancing, and watching way too much TV. I also am the executive producer for Big Gay Energy, an LGBTQ+ media podcast. This podcast means a lot to me because it allows us to educate people on issues and be a part of saving shows with much-needed representation. I also started a series for the podcast where we introduce our audience to the crew that works on these shows/films. They never get the recognition they deserve, and it brings me joy to hear them talk about what they love to do.
What’s The Best Piece Of Sales Advice You’ve Heard Recently?
It’s more about creating connections than selling a product.
Are You An Early Bird Or Night Owl?
An early bird who can wake up singing but will still wake up at the last possible second to leave the house.
If You Could Live Anywhere In The World For A Year For Free, Where Would You Choose?
Probably Vancouver! It is a mega-hub for film/television production and I just want to be surrounded by all of it. The only downside is that commuting is probably a hassle with all the roads that get shut down for filming. My second choice would definitely be Australia though. That country captivated me as a child and my love only grew stronger once I finally got the opportunity to visit.
Tell Us What Inspires You, Or Provide Your Favorite Inspirational Quote.
I am inspired by the power of media. When you create content, you have the power to influence and provoke the thoughts and feelings of your audience. If used correctly, this power can help change the world for the better and I feel like that is truly amazing.
What Motivates You To Do What You Do Here and How You Contribute to the Customer Experience.
I see this job as a big challenge. Cold calling isn’t the most exciting topic for people unless they are directly involved. My goal is to try to figure out different ways to capture attention and draw people in to learn more about Superhuman Prospecting.
